Minimalism doesn’t mean boring. For proof, just look to H. Moser & Cie.

Watches and Wonders Geneva: The watch world’s biggest release party may be over but the year in horology has just begun. Catch up on all the key novelties from Rolex, Panerai, Patek Philippe and more.

The independent Swiss watchmaker has formed an identity around not only minimalist watches but minimalist watches that are infinitely interesting. Like a Vantablack dial free of any text or indices that sucks you in like a black hole, or a perpetual calendar with just one number on the dial.

Now, Moser has set its minimalism mastery loose on two of the watch industry’s hottest trends: bright colors and natural stone dials. The brand’s new Pop Collection extension of its Endeavour line combines six different gemstones in various combinations to create striking dials that say a lot — even though they technically don’t say anything.

The dials — free of any text or hour markers — pair turquoise with coral, Burmese jade with pink opal, and lapis lazuli with lemon chrysoprase. Each pairing is available in two configurations, allowing every stone to play the star with the other acting as the accent color. In total, there are six color combinations to choose from across three models.

The Endeavour Small Seconds Concept Pop comes in a 38mm stainless steel case powered by Moser’s HMC 202 automatic movement, which is gorgeously finished with a skeletonized gold rotor and is visible through a sapphire caseback.

The Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Pop is in a 40mm stainless steel case and powered by the dual-hairspring flying tourbillon Cal. HMC 805 automatic movement. Finally, there is the Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Concept Pop, with a 40mm case in 5N red gold housing the manually wound Cal. HMC 904, which features a minute repeater and tourbillon on the dial.

Pricing and Availability

Given the natural stones involved — and how picky Moser was about selecting only the brightest and clearest stones available — the Pop Collection is severely limited.

The Small Seconds version is the most plentiful, with each of the six colors limited to 28 pieces. They’re priced at $33,500, except for the two turquoise/coral combinations, which are $42,900 because of their costlier materials.

The Tourbillon is limited to five pieces per color and is priced at $82,500 for all but the turquiose/coral models, which are again pricier at $86,900. The six Minute Repeater Tourbillons all combine lacquer with a single gemstone, and each is a piece unique priced at a staggering $340,000.
