Sifting through the dive watch market is a challenge even for experienced watch experts. Thousands of watches may look like serviceable tool watches on the surface but most might struggle to survive an occasional water-based adventure.
Victorinox’s newly unveiled Dive Pro line is here to make things easier for anyone looking for a watch that’s ready for diving and best prepared to master your time.
Here’s a quick rundown of what makes the Dive Pro line truly stand out in a sea of dive watch pretenders.
Every Victorinox Dive Pro watch offers four key professional-grade dive watch features

- They’re all water and pressure-resistant up to 300m or 990 feet, meaning they can stand up to long swims and deep dives alike.
- They all feature unidirectional rotating bezels, complete with a detailed twenty-minute count up scale and five minute intervals for more precise timing of shorter duration functions like decompression stops.
- Every dial features dual color Super-LumiNova to help keep critical information legible even in dark conditions — blue for the diver indicators and green for time.
- Every model is ISO 6425 certified. If you aren’t exactly familiar with what this standard means, that’s ok. All you need to know is that the entire line has passed a series of rigorous diving and more general underwater tests to ensure optimal performance, even for professional divers. They also comply with ISO 6425 for shock resistance and ISO 764 antimagnetic standards.
The Dive Pro line features multiple movement options to suit various informational needs.
The quartz options feature the ever-reliable Swiss-made Ronda 715 movement, complete with a standard date window.
The automatic version is powered by a Sellita SW220-1, complete with Day & Date functionality and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours, which is quick and easy to set. Its dial design is also distinguished by raised horizontal line details and a crown that sits slightly askew at 4 o’clock.
Two different case materials offer unique benefits and wear qualities.

The 316L stainless steel used in select models of the Dive Pro line is an especially durable and corrosion-resistant version of the popular metal. And since it’s recycled, it supports Victorinox’s long-term commitment to sustainability.
There are also titanium iterations for those looking for an even lighter, more robust, more durable material. The particular ASTM Ti Grade 2 of titanium used meets the highest standards for the metal, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and hypoallergenic qualities. That latter benefit makes it an excellent choice for anyone allergic to stainless steel. It should also appeal to anyone interested in a darker aesthetic.
Straps and matching bezel color details vary, creating multiple styles to match any aesthetic.

Seven of the eight Dive Pro models ship with extensible rubber straps designed to fit safely over wet suit sleeves that are easily swapped out without additional tools. The strap’s bright colors compliment the colored marking details on the watch bezel and second hands. One version of the pro quartz watch also ships with a handwoven Paracord strap for a completely different look.
And if you still don’t see the watch you’ve been waiting for, Victorinox’s I.N.O.X Chrono or Journey 1884 series could be just the thing.
