Timex and Todd Snyder are continuing their fruitful partnership in reviving classic models from the watchmaker’s archives. Their latest collaboration, named after the Liquor Store, refers to the vestigial signage adorning Todd Snyder’s Tribeca location, previously a beloved J. Crew specialty outpost opened back when Snyder himself was running their menswear show.
With an affordable automatic movement from Japanese Miyota and midcentury good looks, the watch features an off-white dial and gold elements that have a throwback feel to a time many of its intended audience were too young to know firsthand.
