Editor’s Note: Watches & Wonders (formerly SIHH) and Baselworld 2020 are canceled but that hasn’t stopped watch brands large and small from debuting their new wares. To stay on top of this year’s best new watch releases, visit our tag page.

Sometimes when watch enthusiasts travel, they encounter unfamiliar brands that are simply not well represented in their home market. You’re most likely to discover the historic Swiss watchmaker Titoni’s products in places like a Shanghai shopping mall, but in the United States, you might only find some vintage examples from time to time. However, this 100-year-old, family-run Swiss brand is still quietly making watches, and they recently released an attractive new Heritage collection.

The Titoni Heritage starts with a simple three-hand watch powered by a Sellita SW200 automatic movement. As the Heritage name implies, it’s meant to draw on vintage aesthetics that are represented in elements like its tall domed sapphire crystal and the retro font used for the Arabic numeral hour indices all around the dial — which, along with the hands, use a faux-patina color of beige lume. (Note that the dial is also kept clean of any date display.) Based on a model from 1948 — and produced by Titoni’s also obscure sister brand Felca — it’s got a handsome, throwback theme and should fit many wrists well at just 39mm wide.

Unfortunately, because Titoni’s strongest market is China, they have only a limited retail presence around the world, and no e-commerce as of yet. The new Titoni Heritage watches come in two dial variants of black or white, and each is available with a steel bracelet or leather strap with prices around $1,075.
