If you live in New York City and have even a passing interest in watches, then you were probably at TimeCrafters, held at the Park Avenue Armory this past weekend. If you weren’t, don’t worry. Gear Patrol dispatched photographer Jae Yoon to capture every interesting tick and tock.

Manifesto of Time_

What exactly is TimeCrafters? Think auto show, but with watches, and you’re on the right track. Manufactures from Audemars Piguet and Breguet to TAG-Heuer and Swatch were on hand to share their pieces with the public, give watchmaking demonstrations and provide interviews with industry executives. Basically, TimeCrafters is the “kid in a candy store” experience for watch freaks; but rather than encouraging tooth decay, it’s your wallet that’s in trouble. This was the second consecutive TimeCrafters event, and if the turnout was any indication, we have many more to look forward to.
