Following their collaboration on a unique version of the Metro, Hodinkee has teamed up once again with famed Glashütte-based German watchmaker Nomos on a special, limited edition of the Tangente, dubbed the Tangente Sport Limited Edition for HODINKEE. The new LE features a 36.5mm by 7.5mm stainless steel case derived from the Tangente Sport line with 100m of water resistance and features a chronometer-certified version of the manually wound, in-house Alpha movement with 43 hours of power reserve.
With its dark grey dial, blued hands and large sub-seconds register, the new Tangente is a handsome, highly legible and sporty take on the Bauhaus design ideal. A flat sapphire crystal, newly designed stainless steel bracelet, woven textile strap and specially engraved steel case back with individual numbering round out the feature set. Pricing for the new LE, which will be available exclusively through the Hodinkee Shop beginning at 10am, is $2,450, from which it ships with a total three-year warranty. But be quick — it’s a limited run of just 300 pieces.
