Built upon their recent automotive-inspired chronograph watch, the Camber, Jack Mason has released a special edition version dubbed the A.J. Foyt Limited Edition Watch, honoring a Texas-born, four-time Indy 500 winner and the only driver to win racing’s “triple crown,” the Indy 500, the Daytona 500 and the 24 Hours of LeMans. Limited to 100 pieces, the L.E. is the second watch in Jack Mason’s Icons Series, based on the Camber platform.
The A.J. Foyt Limited Edition Watch was designed based on Foyt’s historic Coyote/Foyt-engined race car built for the Indy Car series, including the Indy 500, and driven from 1966 to 1983. The watch echoes the car’s red, white and black logo colors and features the Coyote logo on the dial. Further, Foyt’s number 14 is used in place of the regular 4 o’clock marker, and the case back features a signed version of one of the racer’s portraits as well as the edition number.
The watch has a 42mm case diameter, Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz movement with flyback function, 100m of water resistance and a sapphire crystal, ships with a special three-hole Italian red and black leather racing strap as well as a stainless steel bracelet. The A.J. Foyt Limited Edition Watch retails for $495 and is limited to 100 pieces.
