Luxury British watchmaker Bremont has been teaming up with famed British companies (as well as the military) for years, leading to beautiful collaboration pieces now considered iconic Bremont models, such as the MBI. Recently, Bremont released its latest collaboration with Jaguar, honoring the D-Type.
Celebrating Jaguar’s recent decision to reinstate production of the 1950s D-type to complete the last 25 pieces originally planned (75 out of the original 100 were previously completed), the new D-Type limited edition is a dual-regiater chronograph with a blue dial inspired by the colors of the Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar race team. It uses the Bremont 43mm three-piece Trip-Tick® case and features the mechanical BE-50AE movement with Jaguar steering wheel-inspired rotor. The crown features Dunlop tire tread etching and the heritage Jaguar logo.
The D-type LE is limited to 300 pieces, ships on a blue racing calf-skin strap, and is priced at $7,295.
