Tutima is among a cadre of German watch brands that are well known for pilot or “flieger” watches based on WW2 air force specifications. Much of the brand’s lineup centers around its aviation heritage, and the new Grand Flieger Automatic fits right in. It introduces a simple three-hand option at an entry-level price for the brand with a range of interesting dial options, each offering a pop of color.
At 41mm wide and 12mm thick in steel and topped with a sapphire crystal, the Tutima Grand Flieger Automatic is powered by the Swiss ETA 2836 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. With dials of green, gray, or black, the Tutima Grand Flieger Automatic has a price of around $1,500 on a strap or $1,800 on a steel bracelet.
