IWC has just unveiled the latest addition to its Pilot’s Watch lineup: a vintage-inspired chronograph reminiscent of the brand’s Fliegerchronograph from the 1990s. And if you loved the “Tribute to Mark XI” the brand released last year, you’ll be happy to know this chronograph borrows most of the Mark XI tribute’s best features. That includes vintage-inspired tan lume, the same set of hands, and even the exact same olive-colored NATO-style strap. The watch is powered by an IWC-modified version of the ubiquitous Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement which is protected by a 43mm case with a soft-iron inner cage that keeps it safe from magnetic fields.
Interestingly, IWC says this chronograph will be available only through its recently-launched online boutique. It’s currently available for purchase right now until October 2018 for $4,950.
