Omega has been the official timekeeper of the Olympics for decades, a fact the brand would rather you not forget given the plethora of limited edition timepieces it has released over the last couple months. To round out that collection, Omega has introduced a new series of high-end NATO watch straps adorned with the colors of several flags from competing countries, including the USA, South Korea, Germany, Switzerland and China to name just a few. Six more NATOs are finished in colors that represent the Olympic rings — five straps for each ring color and one with all five colors on it.
These being Omega-made straps, expect them to go the extra mile in terms of fit and finish. They’re made from a very durable synthetic material called polyamide and feature stainless steel keepers that have a clean, squared-off look. Pricing has yet to be announced, but given that the standard Omega NATOs sell for around $180, we’d expect these to hover somewhere around that price point.
