A great everyday watch option.

Ahead of this year’s Baselworld, Alpina has revealed one of its newest additions for 2018: the Startimer Pilot Chronograph Quartz. Combining a 42mm stainless steel case and a quartz chronograph movement based on a caliber from Ronda, the new watch should promise to be a good entry-level option for prospective watch buyers wanting a new watch with chronograph functionality but a smaller price tag. Best yet are the dial options, including a radiant blue, a stealthy black (paired with a black-coated case) and a faded beige with blue, red and yellow accents. Pricing has yet to be announced, but given the prices of similar quartz pieces from Alpina, we’d expect it to land around the $1,000 mark.
