In recent years, the nylon NATO strap has resurfaced as a stylish watch accessory, thanks to its military looks and utilitarian construction; you’re just as likely to see them on Rolexes and Omegas as you are to see them on Timexes and Seikos. And while affordability has almost always been an intrinsic part of the NATO strap, there is something to be said about a higher-end version.
That’s where Worn & Wound’s new ADPT straps come in. Worn & Wound certainly didn’t try to reinvent the wheel with the ADPT strap, but it is claimed to be “currently the only American-made nylon strap of its kind,” using nylon that’s woven and laser cut in the Northeast. The strap is currently available in five solid colors — black, navy, olive, sage and tan — each for $42.
