This Limited Edition Panerai Is a First for the Brand

For the first time ever, Panerai has married two of its signature design touches in one watch.

panerai Panerai

Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, Panerai has long since been producing timepieces that live at the intersection of Italian design and Swiss technology. Always pushing the boundaries with technical and aesthetic advances, Panerai has delivered once again with its latest timepiece — The Blue Luminor Marina Carbotech™ Blu Notte.

This watch marks the first time that two signature elements of Panerai design — the Carbotech™ case and Blu Notte dial — are present in the same watch. With the resistance of Carbotech™ and the subtle radiance of the sun-brushed blue dial, the watch is casual yet elegant. It’s suitable for your day at the office or a night out on the town, so you won’t have many reasons to take this off.

Carbotech™ is a material that offers greater resistance to external forces, including corrosion. To create it, Panerai uses alternating layers of carbon fiber that are fused with cutting-edge PEEK polymers under high temperatures and pressure. As a result, the case of each Luminor Marina Carbotech™ Blu Notte has fine variations which give the watch a unique character and make it durable enough to handle any bumps you encounter throughout your day. Plus, the watch also offers water resistance up to 30 bar, so it stays true to Panerai’s origins in dive watches.

The timepiece is set on a Blu Notte alligator strap with a matte finish, and is clasped together with a trapezoidal pin buckle in DLC-coated titanium. The sandwich dial structure features numerals, indices and black steel hands with white Super-LuminNova™ that ensures you can read the time wherever you are. The limited-edition offering of 500 pieces will be available exclusively online at panerai.com so be sure to secure yours below.
