Bamford London’s new GMT Heritage, Night Owl and Mirage watches recall classic Rolex colorways.

Bamford, the London-based customizer famed for its all-black, tactical-looking interpretations of modern luxury watches, has been making its own timepieces for a few years now. Most recently, they added green versions of their GMT watch to their lineup, which features no fewer than 17 variations.

The latest entries in the GMT collection immediately call to mind longstanding Rolex coloways: namely, those of the GMT Master and Explorer II collections. The new Heritage and Night Owl GMTs feature classic “Pepsi” bezel colors (red and blue), with the only difference between the two models being the colors’ relative positions on the bezel. The Mirage, with its grey dial and orange-tipped seconds hands, calls to mind an Explorer II.

The Bamford GMT collection watches otherwise feature the same characteristics: a 40mm wide, stainless steel cushion case; the Swiss Sellita SW330 automatic GMT movement with independently adjustable GMT hand; an inner, rotating 24-hour bezel controlled by a crown at 10 o’clock; 100m of water resistance; and a matching steel bracelet. At ~$1,198, this is a solid package, and given the number of different colors available, there should be a version to satisfy many different tastes. Keep in mind that shipping costs differ depending upon your country, as the watches are coming from the U.K.
