In celebrating ins 160th anniversary this year, TAG Heuer has decided to focus on its famed, motorsport-inspired Carrera line, which has taken many forms throughout the brand’s history. Recent years have seen brash and youthful interpretations, but the new Carrera Sport Chronograph collection takes a step back toward the clean and handsome design language that nostalgic fans appreciate.

Since 2015, the modern Carrera has taken on a large, sporty, Hublot-esque character with skeletonized dials and edgy designs. For the new Sport Chronograph, the bold 44mm case remains, but features toned-down dials and other details that convey a more mature feel. Four color variations are available, which include three with ceramic bezels with tachymeter scales and one with a green dial model with a steel bezel.

Inside, the Carrera Sport Chronograph watches are powered by the in-house Heuer 02 automatic movement with 80 hours of power reserve, which is visible through a display case back. Available this month with prices starting at $5,350, three of the new models come on a steel bracelets, while the fourth ships on a leather strap.
