Timex has been a fan-favorite watchmaker of Gear Patrol readers for as long as I can remember. Known for its expansive catalog of beautiful, bespoke, and retro-inspired timepieces — all of which are incredibly affordable — Timex has temporarily shifted focus to a different type of watch: the Apple Watch.
Ahead of next week’s big Apple event where, in addition to new iPhones, the Cupertino giant is expected to reveal new smartwatches as well, Timex has dropped its latest collection of Apple Watch bands — of which there are four different Apple Watch bands.

There’s a stainless-steel band that pays homage to the Q Timex Malibu. There’s a flexible rubber strap that draws inspiration from Timex’s Ironman watches. There’s a grey leather strap — which is notable because Apple doesn’t sell leather accessories anymore. And there’s a flexible rubber strap for those looking for something a bit more rugged.
The kicker is that these new Timex bands for Apple Watch stay true to the company’s ethos and are pretty affordable. Depending on the size and model, each goes for between $50 and $60.
