First announced in February, the Sigma BF is a jaw-dropping full-frame mirrorless camera with a 24.6-megapixel sensor and L-Mount lens compatibility. But more notable, perhaps, is everything it lacks.

As noted in a video preview by Richard Butler, the technical editor at DPReview — the world’s most authoritative source for camera news and reviews — there’s no electronic viewfinder, no in-body image stabilization and no mechanical shutter. There’s not even a slot for an SD card.
Instead, the BF features just four button controls and a dial, along with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display.
And yet, the BF remains one of intriguing camera releases in years, thanks to its clean, Apple-esque body — milled from a single piece of aluminum similar to a MacBook — not to mention its one-of-a-kind interface.
