Admittedly, a vertical mouse takes some getting used to, but once you do, there’s no going back. (As somebody who has used Logitech’s Lift for several years, I can attest to this.)
For those unfamiliar, a vertical mouse flips the traditional (“flat”) mouse on its side so that when you hold it, your hand and wrist are in a natural handshake position, reducing stress and pressure on the wrist. Basically, it can help you work more comfortably.
Now, vertical mice aren’t exactly new — the first one was invented in the mid-90s — but more and more office-focused brands are coming out with their own models. And now Razer, a brand better known for its gaming peripherals with RGB lighting, is getting in on the action.

Razer’s first vertical mouse
Razer announced two new wireless mice this week, the Razer Pro Click V2 and the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition, the latter of which is the company’s first foray into vertical mice.
The “Verical Edition” is built in a similar style as Logitech’s MX Vertical and Lift. It features 71.7-degree angle that Razer says “mimics a natural handshake grip, reducing strain during prolonged use.”
