It looks like a great solution for traveling with cables or just decluttering your desk space, but the best part is that the magnets make such a satisfying snap sound when they snap together.
The SuperCalla cord will come in a variety of different connection options — including USB-A to Lightning, USB-C to Lighting, USB-A to USB-C and USB-A to micro-USB — that you can order — and will support fast charging and data transfer. You’ll be able to order them in either white or black, as well as in different lengths. For now, you can secure the promise of one cable for a $19 pledge, with pricing and availability of the final release still up in the air for now.

At the time of writing, backers have pledged well over $1,000,000 to SuperCalla, which is well more than its $10,000 goal. And while the idea is certainly exciting, we’re a little bit skeptical until we see it in real life. Yes, the choregraphed GIFs make it look utterly fantastic, but in practice those magnest might snap together into terrible tangles instead of a perfect coil. Of course, that snap sound might make it worth it either way.
