It’s a tough time for creators. Specifically photographers. In an effort to stimy some of that pain, a lot of companies are opening their online photography courses, which were previously hidden behind a paywall, and allowing anybody to take them for free. Whether you’re a professional photographer or a hobbyist looking to learn, there’s sure to be an interesting photography course for you.
Nikon

Nikon is making all its online photography classes free for the month of April. These classes range from 15-minutes to an hour in length, and cover everything from shooting portraits, landscapes and macro photos, as well as instructional videos to mastering specific Nikon models.
Leica

You can watch Leica’s on-going series of online classes for free. They’re more talks with photographers or industry professionals, rather than educational videos, but they’re interesting nonetheless. There’s a backlog of over 70 classes that you can watch, and new classes take place every Sunday (in case you want to watch live). A neat thing is that on the following Monday, Leica announces a photo challenge based on the previous class. Think of it as “homework.” You can see the challenges on Leica’s Instagram page and submit your photo by using #StayHomeWithLeica.
