TivoIf you’ve still been using your TiVo service, then your loyalty is about to pay off. The TiVo Stream ($130) is a new accessory that allows you to stream HD quality programs from your home TiVo box simultaneously to up to four mobile devices. As long as there’s a Wifi connection, Stream users can also scan channel guides, select a show, and watch it live on their device, or wirelessly download content for viewing offline.
At launch, the Stream will only be compatible with iOS devices, so Google fans shouldn’t start Tivo’ing just yet. An Android app is in the works though and it goes without saying that you’ll need a TiVo premiere box for the Stream to work. If you’re not in the cult of TiVo, just buy a Slingbox.
