Hisense is up there with brands like TCL and Vizio, as they all make really nice 4K TVs at affordable prices, and now the company is releasing what is arguably its best budget 4K TV to date. The brand-new Hisense R8F 4K Roku TV is the company’s first ULED 4K Roku TV.
It supports Dolby Vision and delivers a brighter, more contrast-y picture than most other 4K LED TVs. It is also integrated with Roku’s smart operating system, a rarity for Hisense TVs, so using the TV should feel pretty familiar for a lot of people. The other neat thing is that the R8F TV supports Dolby Atmos, so it promises a more immersive audio experience than your average budget 4K TV. Essentially, if you don’t want to spend more on a Dolby Atmos-supporting soundbar or home theater system, you don’t have to.
The Hisense R8F 4K Roku TV will come in two sizes, 55-inches ($499+) and 65-inches ($699+), each of which will be available mid-December.
