It’s about to get way cheaper to smarten-up the lighting your house. Wyze has opened up pre-orders for its new, dirt-cheap $8 smart bulb. There a few catches. At launch, the bulbs are only available in $30 packs of four, and for now they’re only available for purchase through Wyze’s mobile app ahead of shipping in June.

The 800-lumen bulbs are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant and sport all the features you’d expect from a pricier bulb, despite their low price, like brightness and temperature custumization and scheduling. An $8 price point sounds almost too good to be true, but with a cost so low, it’s barely a gamble.
