For anybody who loves and uses Apple’s Magic Mouse (which is now available in space gray), the company Moonimal has created a minimalist mousepad that’s supposed to turn you into an even more proficient mouse-wielder. Called the PureShape mousepad, it’s specially engineered to make the Magic Mouse glide with less friction and more precision. Along with the mousepad, you need a special mouse add-on, a smart slider, that gets placed underneath the Magic Mouse, which makes the mouse look like it’s floating; the design was inspired by Dieter Rams, according to the company.
The PureShape Mousepad is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, which you can check out below. Its expected delivery date for early backers is this August.
