Case-Mate released the Power Pad ($60), a wireless fast charger for iPhone X that comes with an optional stand so that you can easily text and take calls while charging. The idea is that most wireless charging pads make you lie your iPhone down flat, making it impossible to use your iPhone while it’s charging. Or, at least it’s very uncomfortable. The other sort of unique thing about Case-Mate’s optional stand is that it can be used vertically or horizontally, which will be nice for those who want to watch movies while simultaneously charging their iPhone. As with other wireless fast charging pads, the Power Pad is a Qi-wireless that can output up to 9-watts of power. So if you have a Samsung Galaxy S9, this will be able to fast charge that, too.
