I Want to Improve My Picture

There’s more to improving your picture than just upgrading to a 4K HDR television. All the components also need to support 4K HDR, including your cable box, streaming stick, soundbar, AV receivers, HDMI cables — but let’s assume you have or will get all that. The TV is the most important thing, after-all, and the Super Bowl is a great excuse to upgrade to a bigger better TV. Many manufacturers are offering some pretty enticing deals, too.
Budget Choice: Don’t be discouraged by TCL’s low prices — the company makes the best bang-for-your-buck TVs on the market. Its S-Series of 4K smart TVs support HDR technology, with a pretty impressive 120Hz CMI effective refresh rate. And you can buy 55-inch model (55S405) for only $370 at Best Buy (here), or the 49-inch model (49S405) for $330 at Best Buy (here) or Amazon (here).
Bigger and Better Option: Unless you’re willing to buy an OLED or QLED TV, which are the highest-quality and most expensive TVs out there, Vizio’s M-Series of 4K HDR TVs is a great alternative — The Verge‘s Chris Welch called it “the foolproof choice for great 4K and HDR.” Leading up to the Super Bowl, you can buy 65-inch model for $1,000 ($200 off), 70-inch model for $1,400 ($600 off) or 75-inch model for $1,850 ($650 off).
