The Juke Box E ($499) is Pro-Ject’s latest vinyl turntable, but really, it’s an all-in-one system. As first spotted by What Hi-Fi, it’s a record player with a Bluetooth receiver, power amplifier and phono stage all built into its body. Effectively, you just plug it in, add some nice speakers, and you’ve got a high-end hi-fi system.
The Juke Box E shares a similar aesthetic as Pro-Ject’s other turntables. It has an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm with sapphire bearings and Ortofon OM5e cartridge. Additionally, the set up is super simple. You don’t need to adjust the tracking force or anti-skating settings — it’s all pre-set. Just install the belt, and it’s ready to play. It has all the makings of a great entry level hi-fi system, plus you’ll be able to stream up to CD-quality audio from any Bluetooth device.
The Pro-Ject Juke Box E is expected to be available in mid-December for $499.
