These days, there are a lot of different MagSafe wireless chargers — all of which can fast-charge your iPhone 12 or iPhone 13. If you have one or two other gadgets that also support wirelessly charging, like an Apple Watch or AirPods Pro, you can buy either a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 wireless charger, like Apple’s MagSafe Duo ($129) and Belkin’s Boost Charge Pro ($150). These can wirelessly charge your iPhone (via MagSafe) and those other gadgets all at the same time.

But…if you have a new iPhone and three other gadgets that also support wireless charger, well, as far as I know, there’s really only one MagSafe charger that handle them all. It’s the HyperJuice 4-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe ($200). And it’s a full-on beast.

What’s Good About the HyperJuice 4-in-1?

It can fast charge (almost) all your devices.

The HyperJuice 4-in-1 Wireless Charger will charge your iPhone 13 or iPhone 12 at the full potential of MagSafe: 15 watts. Its two Qi-wireless charging pads can charge an Android smartphone at its max potential (up to 7.5 watts) and a pair of wireless earbuds at its max potential (5 watts), too.

The outlier is the Apple Watch, as the HyperJuice’s charging puck is limited to 5 watts, which can fast-charge every Apple Watch model except the newest one. (The Series 7 has been built with special architecture that allows it to charge 33 percent faster than other models, but it needs a new-age Apple Watch puck.)

Another convenient thing is that the HyperJuice allows you to power it in one of two ways. It comes with a 36-watt DC wall adapter, but it also has a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery on its back. Both work the same, but you’ll need a 30-watt USB-C adapter (not included) to properly power its USB-C port. If you buy the HyperJuice, you’ll likely just use the included DC adapter, but the secondary port is a nice alternative if you take it traveling.

Yes, it’s travel-friendly.

Believe it or not, the HyperJuice 4-in-1 Wireless Charger is compact and travel friendly. The stand folds down so that it rests nearly flat on the base, making it easy to slide into backpack. The other nice thing is that the MagSafe charging puck is also adjustable. You can tilt it so that, when your iPhone is attached, you adjust the viewing angle. This is nice for FaceTime calls and, if you’re so inclined, watching shows or films.

It’s a complete package.

It might be seem like an obvious thing to say, but the the HyperJuice 4-in-1 wireless charger works right out of the box. It comes with all the necessary cables and power adapters (specifically a 36-watt DC charger) so you can plug it in and simultaneously start charge all your devices.

I say this because a lot of other MagSafe chargers, including the two Apple makes — the MagSafe Charger ($39) and MagSafe Duo ($129) — don’t include the necessary wall adapters in the box. Companies do this for two reasons: first, to keep the price of their MagSafe charger down; second, for environmental reasons. They assume a lot of people already have wall adapters — and while that’s true, most of these wall adapters aren’t high capacity enough to fully support MagSafe.

What’s Not Ideal About the HyperJuice 4-in-1?

The “ultimate” charger doesn’t come cheap.

The main barrier to entry of the HyperJuice 4-in-1 wireless charger is price — $200 ain’t cheap. And you can buy a great many of wireless chargers (that support MagSafe or not) for significantly less.

To make it really work to its fullest potential, you need to have a number of Apple devices (specifically a new iPhone and an Apple Watch) and a few other devices that can wirelessly charge. Or you need to be living in a family or roommate situation where several people can take advantage of the HyperJuice’s 4-in-1 wireless charging capability.

No wired connections.

The HyperJuice 4-in-1 wireless charger doesn’t have any kind of wired charging. There are some MagSafe chargers, like the Nomad Base Station ($120), that have an additional USB port that you allows you to connect a charging capable and charge a device that doesn’t support wireless charging. But alas, the HyperJuice 4-in-1’s USB-C port is only for input power.

The HyperJuice 4-in-1: The Verdict

The HyperJuice 4-in-1 wireless charger is unique. It’s one of the only MagSafe chargers that’s capable of wirelessly charging four different devices — including the latest iPhones — all at the same time.

If you can stomach its high price tag and, most importantly, you have enough gadgets that can take advantage of all its wirelessly charging abilities…there’s really nothing else like it on sale today.
