This summer Eero announced the second-generation of its wi-fi hubs, called Eeros ($199/ea), and the all-new Eero Beacon ($149), which is effectively a wi-fi extender that plugs directly into the wall. The big thing was that the new Eero system was twice as fast and had more range than the original Eero hubs.
