Luna Display
Luna Display is an impressive piece of new tech that is currently funding on Kickstarter. In the simplest terms, it turns your iPad into a wireless display for your MacBook. It comes in two versions: a USB-C version and a Mini DisplayPort version. Once you plug the thumbnail-sized transmitter into your MacBook (which works to fool your Mac into thinking an auxiliary display is attached), it’s then as simple as opening the Luna app on your MacBook and iPad. As long as both devices are on the same wi-fi network, everything connects automatically. For currently being in the beta stage, the tech is surprisingly buttoned up and polished. Aside from some pixelation when moving and scrolling on the iPad, it’s the best wireless display tech I’ve used. Blackmagic Web Presenter
The Web Presenter, with the Terenex Mini Smart Panel, is a fantastic plug-and-play option for anyone who wants to up their live streaming game. Loaded with powerful hardware, the Web Presenter can input HMDI and SDI cameras and switch between the two with the press of a button. It takes up to 4K at 60 fps from DSLRs and other cameras and squashes it into a computer-happy 720 livestream feed. More details to come. — Bradley Hasemeyer, Contributor
