Cambridge Audio, makers of some of our favorite hi-fi systems, introduced the world to the CXUHD, its first ever 4K UHD Blu-ray player. It supports high-end image technologies, HDR10 and Dolby Vision, as well high-end audio technologies, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. And it boasts two HDMI outputs and a HDMI 2.0 input, making it easy to connect your Apple TV, Chromecast Ultra, or Roku Premiere+ streaming devices. According to the company, the CXUHD is designed without a built-in DAC “for noise reduction and improved audio and picture quality.” The 4K UHD Blu-ray player will go on sale next month and cost £700 (approximately $908).
