If you haven’t downloaded the latest iOS update, iOS 10.3.3, you should. Available since yesterday, the update includes a patch that addresses several alarming security issues plaguing iOS users, including a hole that allowed hackers to remotely take control of your iOS device by infiltrating its wi-fi chipset. If the device’s wi-fi was turned on, and it was searching for a signal, that’s when the device was vulnerable. Scary stuff.

Bottom line, if you have the storage capacity to update to the latest iOS on your device, do it. To download on your device, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download Now.
