Steve Jobs famously revealed the MacBook Air in 2008, unsheathing it from a 9 x 12-inch envelope. Nearly a decade on, the machine is still the envy of laptop manufacturers — the perfect balance between tablet and professional laptop. Unfortunately, Apple effectively antiquated the MacBook Air in 2016, choosing to prioritize a cheaper-but-still-expensive MacBook Pro instead.
