The V-MODA Crossfade Wireless headphones ($275) were essentially a wireless version of the company’s well-reviewed and bass-heavy Crossfade M-100 headphones. Now, V-MODA has announced its next generation of premium Bluetooth headphones: the Crossfade 2 Wireless ($330) headphones, which have larger cushions, 14 hours of battery and a foldable, more travel-friendly design. Most importantly, however, the headphones’ new 50mm drivers are Hi-Res Audio certified, allowing you to listen to lossless audio (24bit/96kHz playback) in wired mode.

Like the original pair, the new headphones can be accessorized with custom shields — a V-MODA staple — in case you want to add a little bit more flair. The only downside, besides the boost in price, is that they weigh slightly more than the Crossfade Wireless headphones because of the larger battery (309 grams, up from 292).

The Crossfade 2 Wireless headphones are available now in three colors: matte black, matte white and rose gold. The rose gold version features Qualcomm aptX, so you can listen to the highest-quality Bluetooth audio (note: not lossless), and is priced at $350.
