Killspencer is one of those brands we like to cover here on Gear Patrol. You know, a brand and story that you can’t get enough of the moment you set eyes on one of their products. Started by Spencer Nikosey in 2009 and based in Pasadena, CA, the brand has a growing collection of great products. I have their Track Bike Messenger and it’s the definition of stealth-gorgeous. Their latest creation, the Killspencer iPad Case ($150) continues the brand’s, or should we just say Spencer’s, high level of functionality and performance. Made of mil-spec “original wax” black filter twill manufactured in New Jersey using a proprietary process, the case features RiRi water-resistant zippers, black neoprene padded lining and a bullhide handle. It has one large outside pocket and 2 smaller pockets and fits the iPad with or without the Apple factory case. Yes, the one that never really seemed to fit Apple’s standards (in our opinion).
