Back in September, Apple revealed AirPods, a wireless version of the beloved EarPods. But they’ve been delayed well past their original “late October” release date. Now, just weeks before Christmas, Apple announced that the AirPods will be available in Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Resellers next week. The brand is currently taking online orders as well. Online shoppers can expect the AirPods to be delivered December 21–22.
Each pair costs $159 and gives listeners five hours of playtime between charges. It’s the perfect Christmas gift for somebody with an iPhone 7, or someone who’s too attached to their old EarPods.
