Wolverine has been making boots in America for 135 years. And now, the Michigan-based company has released a sneaker that riffs on the style of its iconic 1000 Mile Boot. Made in the USA, the 1000 Mile Original Sneaker features a soft Horween Essex leather upper that is comfortable from the first wear. The sneaker is unlined and includes a leather-topped PU sock insert and a lightweight Vibram outsole. Available in four colors, the 1000 Mile Original Sneaker retails for $285 and comes in half-sizes from 4 to 12. If you’re looking for a comfortable, casual footwear option inspired by an American classic, this is definitely worth checking out.
