Long a marketplace for rare and sought after sneaker re-sale, eBay is now planning a user-driven, simultaneous community sneaker “drop.”
Expect a “curated collection of scouted kicks — from rare grails to trending styles,” a press release reads. Models and prices have yet to be announced — though said press release does have images of Nike’s Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon, Off-White AJ1s in University Blue and Yeezy Wave Runner 700s. Part of the drop will include eBay-exclusive prices and free shipping on certain models direct from Adidas, Stadium Goods and Reebok.
