Red Wing Heritage boots have no shortage of admirable qualities: good-looking leathers, high-quality constructions and strong welts that make them easier to resole down the line, thus turning them into true heirloom pieces to anchor one’s wardrobe around.
But as a brand, few qualities remain quite as enticing as the sheer amount of leather options on offer, all sourced from the company’s own SB Foot Tanning Co. in Red Wing, Minnesota, and only growing in number.

Red Wing’s Classic Moc, for example, comes in double-digit leather types, including Oro Legacy, Copper Rough and Tough and, as a recent addition, a Dusty Blue roughout that’s new this spring.
Now in a collaboration with New York streetwear label Engineered Garments, Red Wing will lean further into its array of leather, namely by using multiple finishes on the same silhouette.
