Penned by Peter Moore of Air Jordan fame, the Dunk Low has become one Nike’s most consistent canvases since its debut in the mid-1980s.

Easy to wear and always in style, the shoe has won over generations of wearers thanks to an endless stream of color schemes and collaborations, such as one high-profile pairing with Travis Scott.

It also comes in a wide swath of sizes, including those for toddlers as young as just a few months old.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Nike’s latest Dunk Low is ready to make the jump into the brand’s full-size catalog — which is a damn shame, considering its easily one of the shoe’s best colorways in recent memory.

Dubbed “Cargo Khaki and Sequoia,” this rendition of the Dunk Low sees earthy tones overtake the iconic silhouette, with a combination of dark brown and olive green that even extends to stitching around the outsole and heel cup.

The laces and outsole, too, follow suit, giving the shoe a cohesive quality that is usually absent from the classic Dunk series. Traditionally, the model is characterized by high-contrast accent colors that help the Swoosh stand out.

Availability and pricing

The Nike Dunk Low Cargo Khaki and Sequoia is set to release on June 20 for $90 — the same price as other grade-school variants.

Let’s hope it pops off among the little ones, so Nike has no choice but to elevate it to a mainline release.
