The art of smelling good goes back some 4,000 years. Two decades ago, archaeologists discovered an ancient perfumery on Cyprus, dating back to the Bronze Age.
Suffice to say, the world of fragrances is both historic and vast, and few know it better than the Fragrance Foundation (TFF). Founded in 1949, the not-for-profit organization “celebrates the creativity of the people, processes and products that bring captivating scents to life.”
As part of its mission “to inspire the world to discover the passion and artistry of fragrance,” the TFF just named the year’s most exciting perfumes, colognes and eau de toilettes during its annual Awards Ceremony in New York City.
