Few pairings go together as effortlessly as white sneakers and warm weather. Point being, every summer brings countless examples from brands big, small, new and old.

The Gel-Quantum 360, an early frontrunner for the best white sneaker of the season, represents a little bit of all four.

Arriving June 26, the shoe is a collaborative effort between industry stalwart Asics and streetwear newcomer JJJJound as part of an ongoing partnership that dates back to 2022 with two special-edition Gel-Kayano 14s.

Like that release, the upcoming Gel-Quantum 360 revisits an iconic model from the Asics archive. In this case, that means the decade-old Gel-Quantum 360, which made waves in 2015 for its visible Gel and Trusstic technologies.

For 2025, JJJJound has given the stability-focused runner a full-blown lifestyle audit, starting with an all-white upper that combines mesh and synthetic leather for a more-premium finish.

The result is undeniably fresh and versatile, allowing the “story of vis-tech to take center stage,” JJJJound says on the product page.

The Gel here comes in a tonal off-white hue that provides a subtle touch of contrast against the crisp upper, where reflective detailing on the logos and eyelets provides the only other pop of visual distinction.

Availability and pricing

This Gel-Quantum 360 is set to launch on June 26, exclusively through JJJJound’s official website.

Collectors who miss out on the initial drop will have a chance to grab a pair on July 3, when it goes on sale at Asics and other select retailers.

Pricing has yet to be officially revealed by either brand.
