Partnering with the California-based knitwear brand Standard Issue Tees, independent New York men’s fashion label 18east just dropped a capsule of hoodies and sweatpants that, honestly, will convert you into a head-to-toe sweatsuit kinda guy.
It’s a collection of full-French terry flames in a range of rich, garment-dyed colors like gold and petrol that’ll patina over time. And in a custom-knit all-cotton fleece that tips the scales at 24 ounces, it’s twice as heavy as the sad run-of-the-mill sweats you’re used to. The limited release is made in California at SIT’s vertically-integrated factory for a measly $110 a pop.
And if you like (and you should), 18east will garnish the primo goods with hand-blocked paisley print done by the team themselves in their NY studio for a measlier $0. Just ask nicely.
