Red Wing Heritage, the premium-leather, handcrafted offshoot of Red Wing, and Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of Japanese streetwear brand Fragment Design, collaborated on two limited-edition Red Wing Heritage boots.
The two innovators reworked the 4679 Moc Toe and the 4665 Round Toe boots with glossy black chrome leather and nickel eyelets. A black Storm welt, with black stitching, and a white Traction Tred sole round out the boots, designed to tackle winter weather and the field. The boots feature discreet embossed dual branding on the inner ankle with a clean, sans-serif font.
The Moc Toe, which will retail for $450, will be available through Instagram, the Red Wing Heritage website and through a raffle at the Red Wing Heritage store in New York City’s Tribeca. The Round Toe, which will retail for $400, will be more limited as it is only available through the Tribeca raffle.
To enter the drawing, head to the Tribeca store between 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, and 5 p.m. Thursday, December 19, to fill out an entry ticket. Winners will be announced Thursday night, after which they will be able to purchase their boots in-store between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, December 20. Those whose entries weren’t selected need not despair — unclaimed pairs will be available first-come, first served after 1 p.m.
