The latest effort between Portland-based bootmaker Danner and vintage outdoors-inspired Japanese brand White Mountaineering throws its name into the hat late in 2019. With just two weeks left in the decade, it’s easily one of the coolest boots we’ve seen.
In tandem with Danner Japan, the wild take on the classic six-inch hiker boot features a pig suede upper with cow leather lining. It comes with a detachable suede fringe collar as well as fire zip lacing and side zip entry. To finish, the premium upper is fixed to an EVA sole via durable stitchdown construction.
Available in sizes 7 to 11, the boot cost $433 — act fast before it sells out.
