English luxury basics brand Sunspel collaborated with French fashion house Lemaire on a capsule collection of laid-back essentials for fall. Including roll-neck shirts, elasticated trousers, t-shirts and more, it combines the best of both brands and showcases their mutual interest in quality fabrics.

Christophe Lemaire, the former artistic director at Hermès, dove into the Sunspel archive to find pieces appropriate for fall. He gave the brand’s iconic pajama top new life as a shirt jacket, he created matching wide-fit bottoms (from archival pajama bottoms) and he developed an exclusive cotton rib fabric for an oversized t-shirt and roll-neck shirt.

“It is a testament to the innovative attitude of our founder that fabrics developed over 100 years ago can be reworked today in high fashion styles,” Sunspel CEO Nicholas Brooke said in a statement. “It is also great when fashion designers turn to companies like ours, where the focus has always been on quality and fabric development.”

The collection ranges in price from $205 for a t-shirt to $460 for a jacket and is available now at Sunspel.
