If you’ve been hunting for a lightweight pair of pants to wear throughout the summer — then this new release from Everlane deserves your attention. Dubbed the Air Chino, these classically cut slacks feature a fit and fabric so comfortable the brand suggests they’ll become your next travel pants. Hyperbole? Likely not.
Given that these are cut from a 4.2-ounce cotton poplin fabric (about 25 percent lighter than Everlane’s midweight chino) and feature a bit of added stretch thanks to woven-in elastane, the proposition that these will replace your sweats on long flights isn’t that far out. Of course, comfort isn’t the only thing the Air Chino offers. The pants boast a clean look and modern fit in six attractive colors for wearing both in and out of the office.
