Los Angeles clothing brand Outerknown just beefed up its flagship chinos for the cooler winter weather. The new S.E.A. Legs Slim Rugged chinos are made from a durable organic cotton twill that features two percent spandex for added comfort.
These pants are a tangible expression of Outerknown’s environmental mission. The S.E.A. (short for Social and Environmental Accountability) label means the brand not only opts for organic cotton over the cheaper conventional alternative but the front button is made from recovered ocean plastic and ensures the chinos are Oeko-Tex certified (a nod to a sustainably-oriented supply chain and production conditions).
Available in five versatile colors, the S.E.A. Legs Slim Rugged sit just below the waist and have a slim silhouette from the hip to the ankle. They come in sizes 28 to 34, 36 and 38 and have minimal branding. At $118, they’re a little more expensive than other options, but you can wear them knowing they’re a smart and responsible choice for an everyday cool-weather pant.
