Premier denim retailer Self Edge teamed up with Japanese brand Flat Head to produce a pair of truly superlative jeans. According to Self Edge co-founder Kiya Babzani, the Flat Head BSP-AI jean has “been specially developed to achieve a particular shade of indigo when new and to fade with a unique shade and pattern once worn in.” Made in Japan from 14.25-ounce unsanforized selvedge denim, the jeans feature a button fly, a deerskin leather patch and iron rivets. The Japanese denim has natural weft fibers and warp fibers dyed with a unique blend of natural and synthetic indigo. On the back pocket, the arcuate stitching is also indigo-dyed.

The style has slim-tapered fit with a little extra room in the thighs and comes in sizes 29 to 34, 36 and 38. Limited to 100 pairs, these jeans are available online and in Self Edge stores.
